Re: autism/MH service dogs!
Does anyone in the UK have experience with this organisation? http://www.autismdogs.co.uk
Watching Good Omens with @Jo after a very long day travelling to Liverpool for a 2 minute meeting and then heading back. Exhausted but one more important job done.
I finished "At My Father's Wedding". I felt like crying happy tears at the end as I suddenly, on the final page, understood it; all of it. I think I'm going to try and start a men's group locally, as it's something I'm passionate about, especially in the context of improving men's mental health. I'll have to give it some thought.
Rough day requires chill out time and more seaQuest DSV. 😁
Noodling with game design mechanics in my head as I wind down. @Jo should be home soon. And...breathe.
35 week wait (I've been waiting for 31). That's terrible for those that are in crisis (I'm not) and must be so frustrating for the therapists and counsellors themselves. #MentalHealth
Good morning fedi-pals! I just pressed the buttons to make my game go live and I'm telling you first.
Before I vanish into more commercial social media promo land let me just say....
Thanks for all the feedback, love & support, and distractions over the last year or so of making this game. Your the best! I hope you get a chance to check it out.
Going to chase my (massively overdue, but understandably so) IAPT counselling today. 😕 #MentalHealth
Coffee,. biscuits and early (Bank Holiday) Monday morning #GameDev. I think I'm going to start working on the damage system now I have collisions working, tidying up some code along the way. ☕
Cleaned up some old code, changed some game objects to `in` parameters in constructors, etc.
Implemented very basic collision detection.
That'll do for an hour on a Sunday morning.
I'm eating Danish Pastries with my breakfast coffee because @Jo got paid today, is a little bit zany and went to Tesco, 3 miles from our house, at 5.45am. We don't drive.
It's why I love her. 💜
