Doing my best to manage some pretty intense anger today. So far sort of coping, but now would be a good time for my IAPT referral to come through. 🙂

@Gina Just some personal stuff going on with someone close to me. It pushes a lot of buttons that link to some traumatic events I went through a few years ago. So I KNOW it's an automatic reaction where my amygdala kicks me into fight mode, but it's sometimes difficult to acknowledge and accept (though I'm trying!)
As domesticated primates, we're pretty bad at expending energy to manage automatic reactions to things. It's a learned skill. I'm still learning. 🙂
